You may already know this: we met on Tinder. A true fairy tale. Twelve years later, here we are, getting married.
In between, time did its thing. Seasons passed. The proposal came at the autumn equinox; the wedding will take place at the summer solstice. We like the symmetry.
Out of those changing seasons grew a simple, full life — shaped by good food, good wine, and quality time spent together, with our family and friends.
That's exactly what this wedding is about: a day to gather the people we love and celebrate together.

The venue
La Seigneurie is located in Saint-Cuthbert, in the Lanaudière region, approximately one hour from Montreal. We strongly encourage our guests to stay overnight on site or at the nearby Days Inn in Berthierville, because after celebrating properly with us, we want everyone to get home safely.
Below, you’ll find accommodation and transportation options, including a taxi service at the end of the evening and a shuttle the following morning to retrieve your car at the venue, if needed.
We’ve tried to think of everything so you can fully and safely enjoy the celebration with us.
Travel & Stay
Days Inn Berthierville
You may book a room directly with the Days Inn Berthierville by calling 450-836-1621 or 1-888-367-6853, under the room block reserved for Julie Veilleux & Daniel Fortier’s Wedding. Rate: $185 + taxes. Buffet-style breakfast included.
Please note that rooms are guaranteed starting at 4:00 p.m. only. Your room may not be ready upon arrival, so plan your pre-wedding preparations accordingly.
Taxi and shuttle service
To make your return to Berthierville easier after the celebration, a taxi service will be available between 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
You may leave your car safely at La Seigneurie and retrieve it the next morning thanks to a shuttle service from the Days Inn to the venue at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Staying on site
La Seigneurie is located in the heart of ULM Québec, an aero-recreational site offering a variety of on-site accommodations, including camping, shelters, cabins, tipis, a bunker, and even an airplane.

Beet and honey soup with goat cheese mousse

A late-night buffet will be served around midnight to keep the celebration going into the early hours.
